Alexandria Conservation & Gun Club, Inc., Alexandria Indiana, is having a registered marathon shoot on Saturday May 8, 2010. This will be our second annual spring marathon and is titled "2nd Spring Round-Up" shoot.

We will have all four traps running with two on doubles and one each on singles and handicap. There will be no waiting for traps to clear. Price is $16.00 per hundred plus ATA fees with no option and no trophies. We are keeping prices low by using volunteer member help. Open for practice at 9:00 am and shoot starts at 10:00 am.

We have drinks for sale at the club but the lunch time food will be provided free of charge thanks to club officers.

You can shoot registered for the price of practice and get your targets in for the zone shoots and state shoot.

Please see our program at the above URL.

Does this mean you can get in all the registered targets you want? How many rounds do you usually get thru in a day? How many shooters do you usually have? Sounds like fun and a great way to get your target count up.

We will shoot all the targets that shooters want to shoot as long as we have at least 3 registered shooters per event. (Non-registered shooters are not allowed to shoot on the same squad with registered shooters - ATA rule.)

We usually have 35 shooters many of which shoot multiple hundreds while some will shoot 500 doubles targets.

The same shoot last year we threw 8,000 targets and held 5 doubles, 4 singles, and 4 handicap events.
