Many of the nonresidents shot a couple days, toured and fished, shot another day, headed out again, and then shot the weekend - which I HIGHLY recommend. Great way to see the state.

That's it for the scores. I appreciate all the help of the rest of the board members...it's definitely a group effort. And Dave and Janice Cross, the management at BRSP threw us a bunch of great targets. Greg Cordes, who was moving so fast replacing mics and moving trap kids around there seemed to be 3 of him. Thanks everyone....

After spending the last 8 days here in Alaska I can see why people choose to live here. Currently responding to this thread from the Anchorage airport waiting on a return flight home to Missouri......As for the weather maybe a little wet at times however a great time had by all in my party. For anyone thinking on attending a great place to shoot along with some good folks to shoot with this would be a great place to start.

As a side note to all the Alaskans who frequent this site it was a pleasure in meeting you all and making us feel at home during our stay.

Bobby...I hope you're home safe and sound by now, and working on my stock! Remember...my stock gets done before Bracco's, Trujillo's, Nieders, and Farners, LOL.

Thanks for coming...glad you guys had a good time.

Hap these other guys up here are getting tough to beat. I have never seen so many 100's shot as there were this year. Dave Cross has improved the back drop by plowing up a 30 foot berm and the targets look great. Well I hope to see you in Tucson again. Keep your powder dry.

    Bobby,
Nice meeting you and your son. Looking forward to seeing you guys back next year.

    Suggestions for JeffP's stock:

Balsa wood - nice and light for fast swings
Particle board - recycle for that "green touch"
    poison oak - nuff said
    petrified wood - won't warp

either a nice camo finish, wwII airplane paint (maybe a naked lady) or a nice bright fuchsia....I am confident you can make any and all look good for Jeff....

Judy and I want to send our THANKS to everyone who volunteered making the Alaska State Shoot a tremendous success! Plan to be there next year to enjoy the 70 degree sunny weather. It's a dry heat. Ted
