Well I don't know who won but I can say what a fine shoot it was. Many thanks to Bill and staff and the ASTA for a smooth four days of shooting. Targets were "NY style" radar set and about as good as it gets. Good food thanks to Becky and staff in the kitchen, and thanks to Tami who spent four days behind the computor and always with a smile for everyone. Now the reason I didn't win is faulty reloads. I had several shells that didn't have any shot in them, then there was the heat, then I noticed my glove had a hole in it, then there was the distraction of the spent wads on the trap house roof, and a couple of times a butterfly flew by just as I called for the target. Last but not least, thanks to shoot410 for the Daro Handy tip which was worth one or two birds, and no I'm not tellin'.

I apologize for the late posting of the results from the Alabama Trap Championship. Please go to http://www.dixietrap.com/ and select the link for SHOOT RESULTS on the left hand side. To see the results for each event, click on the download PDF selection. I believe the attendence for the shoot was up approximately 10% over the prior year. To all that helped, thanks, to all that attended, thanks. Tim Hall
