I have a few pounds of alcan al-7 powder, But I have no load data for it. Anyone have any data from an old manual they could share. I primarily load Rem sts hulls 1 1/8 loads.

I have loaded lots of it. It is not really meant for 1 1/8 ounces. But is very good for 1 1/4 ounce.

I too have some. I used to load 37grains under 12 OO Buck pellets. Not exactly a trap load. I made some really long range deer kills with them.

Its burn rate and best perofrmance I feel was in the range of 7625, 540/HS6. AL8 was akin to blue dot-4756.

There are a couple of brothers around here that swear by the stuff. {No. KY.} If you don't shoot it , you could sell it.
