Does any have any experience with an after market add on rib? Im trying to get a taller rib for my 1100 barrel. I have googled add on ribs and there are a few vendors out there but I am a little apprehensive so I thought I would ask some experts so let me know what you think.

I have the MoneyMaker Rib on a Krieghoff and have seen it on a Remington. Another one was on some other type of auto. They work good. You can get the as high as you want and adjust the point of impact with the screws or notches.

Aftermarket ribs on an 1100 work just fine. They are attached with either
double stick tape or silicone sealant. Won't come off unless you want to take them off, and that's relatively easy and doesn't hurt the gun.
However a taller rib generally requires a higher comb, and the truth is that
many shooters try a high rib and find they don't like it.

I had a set of 20 ga. barrels for my Blaser Sporter. When I switched to the Blaser Super Sport I put an adjustable Add-A-Rib on the 20 ga. barrels. Easy installation and works great. I use it for skeet and sub-gauge sporting clays.

The folks at Keen sights will make a rid to fit your need. Reasonable as well. Call and speak with them. Jake

I have installed a few aftermarket ribs and for quality and PRICE you just cannot beat Add-A-Rib.

Keen Sights on both barrels of my Kolar and on my 90T.
On the Kolar I had them taper the height to give me a different POI, on the 90T they tapered the width to match the factory rib.
You just can't get better service than that.
