I only know craigs list, and not much about that. There also is Yahoo auctions, I think but not very popular.

Yahoo has closed its auction site as of June 3, 2007. There is no Yahoo Auction any more.

I got a email from AuctionArms last week, stating they will never let the gun users down. They may be the next best bet. I don't have a lot of experience using the site. We just have to try something. Read the announcements link..gkinla

Hi,Ebay is just another attempt of the anti-gun crowd to make it hard for us,lets all dig our heels in a continue to enjoy the sport we all love.As for me I will be on Gunbroker as well as Auction Arms. Its a crazy world, funny we cant sell our gun parts but ebay does nothing about the Porn not to mention what one can buy with regards to the Occult and Witchcraft on their site. Now if those two dont damage the family as well as society nothin does.

I seriously doubt that all of the people that sell/sold gun parts and ammunition related items on ebay are going to sit back and let their internet businesses fold. The good people at Gunbroker.com have got to be loving this. This is like Burger King being told that McDonald's just went out of business. They are not hurting us, just themselves. We still have a place to sell our items if we need to.

I believe Ebay is looking to protect themselves from any potential law suit that might arise from someone naming them as the facilitator of an injury or death caused by Ebay allowing any firearm and or related object to be advertised on their site. Obviously Ebay feels that any loss of income due to not allowing firearm sales is well worth the peace of mind it brings.

    Cmon Woolsey get over it.

Ebay is a business pure and simple. They don't have the time or the need to sit around in the board room trying to think up ways to make political statements or figuring out who to screw next. They're too busy thinking up ways to make more money and keep what they make. Ebay doesn't care about your politics or your religion or anything else. They just don't want to sell your stuff on their web site any more.

Owned by a bitch who had nothing but now has millions. She now thinks she can piss in other peoples face and that they can do nothing. I hope Ebays bank account takes a BIG hit with her bright idea.

Meg Whitman doesn't own eBay. She's just president and CEO.

Pierre Omidyar who founded ebay is still the Chairman of the company.

Auction Arms is stepping up and letting sellers keep their user name and feedback, no listing fee and lower commissions. Smart move and excellent timing.

GunsAmerica killed themselves with the "new and improved" format.
