Just got a used PFS comb and am going to clean and paint it. Would appreciate suggestions on the (1) best way to prep it, (2) best paint (gloss, flat etc.) and (3) best way to get a nice finish. I'll be using spray paints, unless someone can convince me otherwise.
    Thanks ahead.

Paint it the same way you would paint an automobile (primer-paint-clear coat). Proper sanding of the comb and the paint layers is the key. If you could find an auto body repair shop that is going to paint a car the color you want, they would also paint the comb for you at a very reasonable cost. The body shop in my town painted a comb for a friend of mine for a cold can of beer.

Thx Pat. Do you know what the PFS standard comb material is?
