adjustable recoil pad

    What, in your opinion, is the best adjustable recoil pad? I have looked at the morgan, but I don't really like the pad on it or the fact that it is plastic.

    The "100 Straight" is outstanding. The plates are thin so you don't have to cut as much wood to maintain LOP as with others and the working parts are all hardened steel.

    I also like the Nelson adjustable available from the Country Gentleman.

    I have used 100 straight products and they are very good. I also have used the Nelson. I like the Nelson and Greg Hissem's. Greg did one for me on my MX10RS and it came out very nice. Greg has done several job's for me and all have been top notch. Hope this helps, Roy

    The Nelson is as good as it gets , one screw in the back allows adjustment without pad removal. They will ship you one to have fitted if they do not come close enough to drive to. Jeff
