I've talked to a couple of guys about getting one put on my BT 100 thumbhole but they don't think it would work out too well - I need a bit of cast off and am going to end up selling a damn nice gun because I can't get lined up well on it.

Where does the bolt go through a thumbhole stock? Seems the hole is right in line with the normal bolt.

    Jon,

The stock bolt is under the grip cap. It has a special adapter that attaches to the receiver and allows the bolt to attach from that angle. The adapter can be removed and a conventional stock will then work.
