Me, my brother, and a couple friend tried pigeons today. Love the action and had a great time. Something all of us are going to do again. Who tried it and what did you think? Good luck Chuck Hrosik

Addicted to pigeons? Are you shooting them, eating them, or smoking them?

If you shot before paying, you weren't at a real pigeon shoot.

Oh, it was real alright, and I did have to pay before I shot, but I lost more money playing cards. Those guys have no mercy!

When I was a kid,my Dad was a farmer in NW Iowa, we got alot of pidgeon shooting in they lived in the hay lofts, and we would wear them out, after they get shot at a couple of times they fly alot better

But the real fun was loading a cooler full of beer and going around to all the bridges on gravel roads, kicking some gravel off one side and running to the other side to shoot them, could get a pick up load of them

Yeah I know shouldn't have been drinking beer and shooting, but I was only about 15-16 and didn't know any better

I knew a gal one time that called me her "little pigeon". Took me a while to figure out that wasn't good. lol

I'm with CatPower. We used to do the same thing. Except we have someone on standing on both sides of the bridge, so we got them flying out both sides.

Just kick a little gravel in the water and get ready to shoot, because the action is fast, but it doesn't last long.

    Great sport.

We also asked the farmers if they wanted us to come shoot those pigeons and I don't think we ever got turned down. Great sport!

    Hauxfan!

I go to a few diary farms here in Idaho and shoot pigeons. The farmers love me for it and it is a blast
