What wads can I use for Active hulls. Can't find any data since they are pretty old hulls. Just picked up 1000 once fired.
Looking to load 1 oz and 1 1/8 oz. Thx for your time

I used the Fed 12S0 and 12s3 & 12S4 wads for years in them and also some windjammers, downrange yellow 1 1/4 wads too

    Mooner,

Do you know anyone with a Lyman 4th edition shotshell reloading manual. There were some loads posted in it.

I have a bunch of active wads and they come with reloading info. What you got to trade?

Thanks Guys! You reminded me of an old shooting buddy, laid to rest two years ago, that was a character. He called Active hulls "ACTI" V's. Boy I miss him and you brought him back!
    Merry Christams!

Clay Buster CB6100-12 for 1oz and CB3118-12AR for 1 1/8oz work well. Have also used Green Dusters.

Active hull, Fed 209A 21.5 gr Green Dot Fed 12SO 1 1/8 shot. Good handicap load. Loads like Fed Gold medals, straight wall hull. Due to extra case capacity you must use a 1 oz wad for a 1 1/8 oz load or crimps sink. I got this info from Ben at Alliant Powders. Bill
