A friend of mine came into a bunch of the 1 1/8 oz Windjammer wads the other day. He's been shooting them and can tell no difference in breaks than he experenced with WAA12's. I'm sure that alot of you, as I, have always heard that the WJ's throw a more diverse pattern than most other wads.

I started thinking about things I have read over the years, too many years, and most concluded that a plastic shot cup's function is to protect the shot from deformation against the barrel walls. The plastic wad cup and wad drop away a few feet out of the barrel and, it seems to me, would not have any effect on pattern.

I'm really interested in y'all's opinions on this.

Best of luck to everybody. Ron Ireland

I have known shooters who's handicap load involved this wad.

Just another tale based on assumption without evidence/proof.
