After seeing AARP's solid support for the Socialized Medicine plan now before the Senate, I cancelled my AARP membership and my AARP Medicare Supplement
Insurance. I'm going to cut up my card and send it back, along with a letter
telling them what I think of their support for the "Health Care" farce. I was able to save about a hundred bucks a month (for me and my wife togethr) by dropping AARP and going to Mutual of Omaha. Heck, a hundred bucks is a dozen
    rounds or so of shooting.....

I'm mad because I can't find my card to cut up and send back. I have been unable to find an email address to tell them to stuff it either. My wife and I use Mutual of Omaha also. It is good stuff!

When you send your card back ask for a refund of the unused portion. My wife and I got a check back from them when we cancelled. Bulge.

My Wife and I cut our cards and sent them back. We will not support a liberal
    left wing group. John

re: taping postage paid return envelopes to a brick.....

Does this actually work? Is USPS obligated to transport it? Can the recipient refuse them?

I did call The Hartford insurance company regarding keeping their insurance on a home and automobiles. I was told that AARP membership is not required once you have the insurance with Hartford. If you drop their insurance and want back in then you will have to have the AARP membership again. Might want to check for yourself with Hartford if you plan on doing this.

I always take all the crap AARP sends me trying to get me to join and fold it up, put it in their postage paid envelope and send it back to them. Yes I do leave my name on the returned crap they sent...Bill
