I'm getting tired of them also. Too much junk mail, for one. Surely someone has heard of, or belongs to another.

AMAC. Association ov mature American citizens? Something like that. They are still fairly small but staunchly conservative, just the opposite if AARP. About the same dues and nice people, I highly recommend switching.

Second on AMAC. It gave me great satisfaction when I told the Obama lovers at AARP to stuff it !

Their website is www.amac.us . I looked at their home page and it looked interesting. Even Ted Cruz's picture was on there. I'm going to look into this. Thanks for the info.

I just changed Ins. carriers for home & auto. It was $11/mo cheaper if i was an AARP menber. I pay the difference, rather than join those pinkos!

AARP is NOT an option. NOT an organization I will attach my name to and there are no "programs", or discounts that will cause that to change. Saving A few bucks isn't that important to me to be connected to them in any way, shape, or form.
If I can find an alternative..GREAT. If not, I'll just continue to live without them.

I've been an AMAC member for over a year. They offer the same stuff that AARP offers, but with a conservation backbone.

It is amazing how many people identify themselves as conservative yet belong to and do business with AARP because it's good coverage or inexpensive.Even my own parents. It is one thing to talk the talk.Another to walk the walk.I have a few years to go before I could be a member.Rest assured it will never happen. Some of the crap they spew in their ads is at best not true and at worst lies. They prey on the fears of old people that might not be informed by scaring and lying to them. They are a big reason many old timers vote democrat.
