I just found a big chip missing in the forend of my 1187 Premier 20ga.
One must remember its a tool not a piece of furniture......
Sorry I know it hurts but now you don't have to be so carefull.
Call Remington and give them your serial number and buy a new forearm. I have one but it's for an 1100 12 gauge light contour barrel field grade.
For parts information and ordering, please call 1-800-243-9700.
Call Remington, they will send you a new one. Just tell them you're Brian in Oregon. HMB
If you can't get JB weld in the right color, Bondo will work.
I have a nice and beautiful monte carlo trap stock (for my hunting 1100) with chips to match.
were you shooting skeet? Happens all the time.
Don't look too close or you will see the crack too.
Gee Brian......if it was a break-open I could understand you being upset!
Sure hope you have better luck than I have. I have been waiting for an 1187 for-end since the first of August..........This is the last Remington I will own.......Roger
