I have a number of AA 28 gauge hulls that I have had for a few years. I see people selling these, but listing them as HS hulls. What is the HS stsnd for? Don't know if mine are HS or not. Mine are the old compression formed made AA's. Just wondering!
i have loaded and reloaded both and cant tell a diffrence yet if one outlasts another, some people have seen the base wad seperate in the HS ones but i havent so far, since i shoot a over/under i always look thru/down both barrels after i shoot anyway,so this wouldnt be a issue for me.
I have never see or heard of the base wad separation problem extending beyond the 12ga hulls. HS hulls last at least twice as long as the old style hulls. There are plenty of people that are either unaware, unable, stupid, stubborn, ETC RTC to acknowlage this fact and will pay as much as 250 dollars per Thousand for the old style hulls. So.... Price yours accordigly. I sold several lots on E-Bay for in excess of 50 dollars for 250 of the old style hulls. Jeff
