There was a story about this on Modern Waepons on the Military Channel. I couldn't reload shells fast enough to keep up with it. Looks like the shotgun has gone to war.

The Military Channel shows a segment on Future Weapons. The AA-12 is really an amazing piece of hardware. It uses magazines, both straight and round. It is very low recoil, and the company developed some very neat rounds. One, in particular is an explosive "sabot" that would be devastating. They also showed a round used for unlocking doors; no shot, but a powdered metal for the load. It worked like a charm. They also showed a variety of specialty and standard loads.

The company also has developed a dual-mount which can be remotely controlled from inside a vehicle.

The weapon is made of different grades of stainless steel, and the bolt moves back and down, really lessening recoil. How soon can we get the AA12 to the troops?

The explosive shell would really be great for 16 yard shots!!

    Best,
    Dennis

You can't! It is in the same class as a Streetsweeper...a Destructive Device.
