How about the guys who check with snopes and find our light bulbs cause global warming and the seven who blame Obama and say that under Bush _no_ bulbs burned out.

    Neil,

That would be the Geo. Soros owned snopes, and it would accuse Bush of doing terrible things to light bulbs late at night in the dark.

Bill.. This site is filled with those that know.. those that wish they knew.. and those who know nothing.. When 21 of the "regulars" agree on a load.. or choke..or an issue.. That's pretty much it.. First.. many rely on this board for information they don't know where to find it elsewhere. Many on this board are more in the know for good information than many websites.. I go back to the time 700X was listed for a 28 gauge. Many here already knew it was not the best.. or even a safe choice.
Then come the other side.. This is a great place to vent.. to feel wanted.. to have people at least consider what you have to say.
In my own personal life.. if tonights the night.. I cam home and a hot tub is waiting.. if not..my cup of hot coffee is waiting in front of the keyboard.
I've learned alot on this board..and met many GREAT people.(you being one of them) If a thread get to useless.. I just quit going back to it.. and move on. In many cases.. like the Toolmaster for sale.. I owned one and used it for many years.. If I can help someone who always wanted a mill.. but was afraid of it because of its age..and the fact its not a Bridgeport..maybe I could help them decide.
As long as everyone is respectful of each other..its a good place to spend some time in these otherwise difficult times..
I would not change a thing.. Respectfully.. ALL GOOD.. Mike BTW.. this is my best and last.. LOL Mike

I used to know a fellow who could chew up the glass of a broken light bulb without any seemingly ill effects. A friend of his who didn't like him got him to chew up some glass from a neon tube; he got very sick and patches of his hair came out......I'm not sure if he is still living. It was impressive to listen to him chew that broken glass! Biff

Bill you forgot the 96 posters that will refer the lightbulb issue to "Tron" for approval of content and to ask if "Kitty" approves....

and of course the 72 other posters that will ask "Recurvy" if "Pheasantmaster" has ever changed a lightbulb.

otherwise you hit the Proverbial Nail right on the head...well done...

    regards

And those that will complain that 'Connie's Components' doesn't answer e-mails about selling light bulbs.

And then the thread about 'Phil Kiner's' new book "How I change Light Bulbs"

You forgot to mention the charts and graphs that can show how many light bulbs lasted as long as they did and why, and why others didn't and needed to be changed more often ... WPT ... (YAC) ...

Don't forget Blizzard belittling everyone for not buying American made light bulbs that last fewer hours than quality Japanese light bulbs.
