    You asked for it, so here's how I see it:

    The gun at the top was so well designed, reliable and functionally effective that it enjoyed steady sales and respect for nearly 100 years.

    That Tupperware special on the bottom will be forgotten in 100 weeks.

    Seriously though -- if you like the shotgun and it works for you, just enjoy it and don't worry about what anybody else thinks. Especially a hardhead like me.

    here's my honest comparison...

    * Auto5, like driving a classic, great handling 60's Porsche 911...

    * Affinity, like driving the same course, but now we're in a 2012 505HP ZO6 Vette!

    I like both...

    Both the guns in question function and my guess is they are equal in that respect, that said which would you rather you owned and admired as part of your collection?
