If you are "embarrassed" to answer this do not complain when the Democrats Hillary and Obama take away your guns and gun rights.

Just a sample of what the N.R.A. has helped U.S. at the link above.

    This is scary.

N.R.A. and shooting organizations go hand in hand.

Why not have a membership drive ? Why not contact your ATA delegate to see about starting a ATA/NRA shoot to generate membership in both organizations ?

With the elections around the corner and the socialist gun grabbing nazi candidates with the already nancy pelosi congress in place, now would be the time for insurance called N.R.A.

    Eleanor,

Today I was handed an answer to a question that I have been asking for many years, ? how to get off the NRA JUNK mail list? I rejoined today because of that answer! If the NRA follows through I will be a member for a long while!

    If they don't I won't be a dissatiffied member!

At least with the ATA, I can express my dissatifaction, by doing my best to win!

With the NRA the only option that is real for me is to walk away!

I agree BA Al. The junk mail and monthly requests for more money. I give what I can afford when I sign up, and once in a while send in additional. The last time I sent in an extra 100 bucks, I was bombarded with additional requests. Got old...very old.

NRA, use to be, just got sick of junk mail and phone solicitation. I felt like all my dues were being spent on this crap. They have become their own worse enemy doing this chit.

Al, without the NRA your dissatisfaction with junk e-mail will be the least of your problems. It might be noted that WE are the Last Country with Gun Rights, do you value shooting with your buddies when you want to ? I do. The united nations are gearing up again with the help from the socialist nazi politicians in this country to Take that right away from U.S. The mail I get from the NRA is a reminder that I need to do more if I value my gun rights..........I love to shoot and own guns, ask Canada, England, and Australia about their guns.
I spend a lot more shooting in a year than what a life membership cost in the NRA.

Yep, I am an active member of the NRA and the ATA. I like to pay my own way and not rely on someone else to fight the battle. Only a fool would do that...........Roger

I'm a yearly member in both the ATA and the NRA. Its been about 5-6 yrs ago when I contacted the NRA to take me off the mailing list and have had no problems since. Like jbmi I also belonge to Whitetails Unlimited, Ducks Unlimited, National Wild Turkey Federation and Pheasants Forever. I also teach Hunter Ed. and we encourage the kids to join the NRA. Also am a past board member of our local Izaak Walton League. There again we donated to the NRA and encourage members to join the NRA.
