In Waterloo, Ia we had a long time business whose name was "The J.J.Meany Casket Co."

I made some really top of the line caskets.

I knew the son, (Joe) who gave us a tour one night after we had a few drinks.

All in all, I found it very interesting.

I think they still make them in Traer, Ia now.

There used to be a fishing store somewhere on the Deleware River. The guy's last name was Master and he called it Master Bait and Tackle.

Then I was in Bonita Springs in Florida and saw a store by the same name. I did not stop and ask if he relocated...

Dr. Spatz is my Podiatrist (foot doctor). Dr. Stitch was a local surgeon whose services I luckily never needed. The all time winner (and I will bet ANYTHING on it)is Dr. Feldersnatch; you guessed it, a Gynocologist.

My second job when I was a kid was working at a local boat yard. I was 18 years old. The shop foreman a very talanted older gentleman named Wes wanted to build a boat for himself to fish Lake Ontario. Wilma (his wife) told him "You can build your boat but you have to name it after me."
Wes built his boat and named it "The Silver Beaver"!
