A pretty red head in college, a Boss 429 Mustang, a pallet of ammo.

Three things I regret not jumping on when I had the chance :)

Avaldes.....what did you add to your Roush to get that output??? And Chugiak....my wife has that truck and my Roush will make it disappear RIGHT now. One, can you say hellacious frontal drag, and two, can you say you cannot get the horsepower moving with a truck bed over the tires. But good luck with the Boss 429 run anyway..............Jerry

I'd post a picture of my old '91 escort wagon, 21HP, 0-60 in a mile and a half. She hauled my dogs to the hunting grounds and I slept in her more than once. Ya should have seen her humpin when she broke her left rear spring. I had a pretty intimate relationship with her transmission in about 2001. Besides if I did post a picture, you guys would only laugh.

I had a redhead, but now she is a silverhead. She has been a silverhead for quite a while too.

Those are nice vehicles, makes me want my 90 Mustang that was bored .030 had a wild cam and 30 Lb injectors 3,000 rpm stall torque convertor, the torque converter alone woke that car up, she ran 11.10 in the 1/4 but nothing like you guys Boss's.

I used to race 57 chevy's in 1960, but nothing like Ray Staffords Drag Boats

    Wow and on the water.

I bought one just like this new in 1971. It had air and cruise and power windows. Very rare car but like a fool I sold it to pay for my kids college. My wife drove the three boys to school in it and they each got to drive it to school their senior year

When Mustangs were new in the marketplace, we thought they were so ugly that we laughed at the kids whose folks bought them one

Hi Jerry, the mustang has full length Kooks headers, H-pipe and pipes, dumping into the Roush offroad mufflers. The usual game was played with pullies, Steeda CAI and getting the right intake tube to make it more driveable. It already came with a little Roush M90 and now it is just spinning a bit faster. Larger intercooler to extract some of the excess heat. Finally about 3 trips to the dyno to get the right tune for power and driveability.

This is about as much as I want to do with the stock bottom end. If it ever blows, then I will have some head scratching to figure out whether to go with a 4.6L Aluminator or one of the newer 5.0 Aluminators.

The new GT500 in the pics above is just a monster! It is really amazing how much good engineering Ford is putting into their cars recently.
