    Hello Folks,

I would like to introduce you to a new line of wads from Downrange
    Manufacturing LLC.

We call it our Hybrid Series.

    The first one we have ready is our DRHF3 (D = Down, R = Range, H =
Hybrid Series, F3 = Our F3 copy of the S3 wad.).

This is our Federal Style replacement with an 8 petal shot cup.

If you have any questions on this product, please give me a call.

Also I will be at the PA State Shoot this Friday, Saturday & Sunday. And will have some samples with me.

    Thank You

What reloading data do you use with the new wad, 12S3 or Windjammer? Can't find the new wad on your web-site, thanks,

Kevin, what are the deminsions of the base and gas seal? I tried using your XXL 1oz wad in new papers and Fed. plastics but I got a great deal of blow by and the FPS was not even close to a 1 oz load in rem. or AA hulls. I also noticed a crimp difference between 12so and 12s3 wads and the Down range. Your wads didn't crimp as close to factory as the claybuster clones or Fed wads, is there that much of a shot cup / height difference? In todays economy we are all looking for savings but not at the cost of performance thus I'll be interested in seeing the test data on these.... Don

As Arte Johnson used to say on Rowan & Martin's Laugh In, "very interesting."

Will these be available at the Grand?

    Hello Folks,

Just had a bit before I head out to the PA and OH shoots.

    Load data: DRF3 / Fed 12S3

Size on over powder cup: I can't say off the top of my head, Sorry. Ballistic test equal the OEM Fed 12S3 for pressure and speed.

Wad on the web site: It will not be on there till after I get back from the OH state shoot. We just got these into production and some samples made to take to PA & OH.

If your going to PA or OH I will have some samples there.

Ok folks, If you have any question give me a call. As I will be off line for a few driving days.

    Thanks

Kevin with all do respect you are not listening to some of us reloaders. Example, the Helarco wads are .730 daim in the powder cup. This has been discussed in length in the reloading forum in shotgunworld. DRF3 wad was not getting the ballistics as oem 12S3 wad, and pictures of the powder cut with a considerable amount of gap when inside a straight wall hull. 10tenner

Never been much of an 8-petal guy myself, but to each their own.
