We all joke about a list of excuses, so here is one a heard recently to add to the list. After several rounds this guy said he was shooting under the birds because his gun had got too hot and the barrel had sagged down!

That is the reason I put a mild dose of Viagra mixed in with the powder in all my shells.

Corn starch works for me, keeps the barrel straight and buffers the shot for tighter groups.

popcicle sticks and some tape generally works for me, I guess for a barrel you would need a couple of yard sticks and duct tape. Either that or maybe some plaster of paris.

I do not have first hand knowledge but if you put Viagra in the shells wouldn't it make the barrel shoot higher ..? WPT ... (YAC) ...

I don't know about shooting higher, I just use it to prevent rolling out of bed.

You know, I've truly heard that some gun barrels do change POI as they heat up. Seems to me like the early K80 O/U barrels were the ones mentioned in that conversation.

I never thought of that excuse. My barrel must have sagged today because I missed a few practice birds, Ha Ha...Bill

It's not my KS5 barrel that sags!! LOL Anyway I have never heard that excuse before - targets too high, targets too low, people talking in back of me, my music went off, That fly "made" me flinch and on and on and on. Personally,
I tell it like it is, "I missed"..And isn't it great to know that there is always another shoot.
