Patrick Buchanan asks a good question -

'"America has no designs beyond an end to al-Qaida safe havens," said Obama in Bagram. "Our goal is not to build a country in America's image, or to eradicate every vestige of the Taliban."

But if those are our goals, had we not achieved them all by early 2002? What, then, were we fighting for -- these 10 years?'

Our young, un-spayed female house cat is in heat. The old, neutered male cat doesn't even care about the weather or anything else. He's gone completely recreational.

MrsSkeet, The oil companies that bought mumblemouth Bush haven't glutted enough yet. President Obama is doing his best to clean up the mess but the brain-washed right wingers are blocking him.

    Ah, another loon surfaces.

    Must be the warmer weather.

Oh yeah, the mess Bush left.........i wonder how many of the 8.1 percent (12.5 million) plus currently unemployed would rather have the Bush mess or the Obama mess?

Well skeet, there is no defense so they ignore the subject.

    ismah , I don't think it's a mis-spelling, just a stutter.

Also had to correct unemployment numbers you guys failedto catch.

I meant to say 8.1 percent (12.5 million), but typed in 88 million.

Your not helping me stay honest.......(that and I cannot read what I type using thiis I-Pad)

Buchanan also asks, "If we had to do it all over again, would we?"

    Buchanan also asks this -

"So, after a decade of war in Afghanistan, what have we accomplished, and at what cost? Some 2,000 U.S. dead, 16,000 wounded, hundreds of billions sunk, scores of thousands of Afghan dead. Al-Qaida was driven out a decade ago but is now in Pakistan, Yemen, Somalia, North Africa and Iraq."

The problem in the middle east is that we failed to go into Syria and Iran when we were done stomping Iraq.
