I am very sad to announce that a very dear friend of mine passsed away this morning, Mr Red Hill. I am not at home this weekend and my wife called me this afternoon to let me know about this. I no doubt learned a tremendous amount from Red and many of you knew of him if you received our monthly newsletters. I know that he is survived by a son John but I don't know any other details. I just want to say farewell Red, God Bless you and our heart goes out to his family.

Sorry for his passing. Besides being a real shooter, mentor, patriot he was humble. Too bad I got all this info second hand. Would have loved to meet your friend.

    Dennis,

Although you have lost a close friend and mentor, Red left you with that same ability that he possessed...you are a mentor to many, my friend. God rest his sole and comfort you and family.

I have an old Skeet Shooting Yearbook from 1971 or 72, I think, with the pictures of Red Hill, Ray Barnes, Robert Paxton, and another shooter who were the high average shooters for the year in each gun. I think Red Hill was high gun in the 410.

    That's how good he was.

I am sorry to hear of Red's passing. I shot sporting with him 3 weeks ago. A nice guy and was still enthusiastic about shooting.

    Dennis,

Sorry to hear about Red's passing. You have told me about your experience with him personally and I know how much of an impression he made on you and how important he was to you; I haven't forgotten. I know he'll be missed. I send my blessings from me and my family. In fact, we just lost another friend and shooter, Barry Badini.
