    From today's Patriot Post

"The American people are hearing a call to arms -- not literal arms, for our system can self correct. But we have to out-organize and out-pressure the Left. They have called us 'the enemy' ever since Alinsky's little book radicalized the revolutionaries of the Boomer Left after the violent revolutionary groups were readily suppressed. When somebody really considers you their enemy you have no choice. Either you return the compliment, or you get overwhelmed by the new Chicago Mob in D.C. The Left has shown how to fight from a position of the minority and win. American conservatives by a recent poll have a two-to-one majority. They are constantly undermined by the political Left: Ridiculed in the media, demeaned in the schools and universities, out-maneuvered in politics at the state and national level by Leftists who are far nastier and far more ruthless than ordinary, decent Americans. This is a struggle for the country. We need to toughen up." --columnist James Lewis

America can't be fixed. It is too late. The sooner you realize that we are on an irreversible decline the sooner you will be at peace. I put my faith in God and my family. I still watch what is happening in the country with interest but know it can't be fixed. Our destruction has been written into our laws and is enforced by our courts.

You are correct likes. highflyer, will change his tune as soon as the Republicans get back in control. If things improve under Obama's administration, I am sure high will be the same kind of person to say, "well that was the result of all of George W. Bush's policies, because it takes time for them to work" or some b.s. such as that.

Where was all the complaining about all politicians who have been working so hard to bring this country down under Bush's administration.

I will not change my tune when Republicans get back in charge. They will not change the laws that are on the books in this country or the downward trend. It should slow the decline a little. Since Obama came into office the decline went from a gentle slope to a cliff. I can't believe anyone is stupid enough to think what Obama is doing is good for this country. He has taken all our problems and thrown gasoline on the fire.

Let's impeach Congress and Obama. As a people we have a right to represented by the people we elect. If they don't do our will we can impeach them. I suggest our constitutional lawyers get busy and begin the process and when we are done, Congress will need term limits as well as the office of the President. Let's put them on notice, do the will of the people or you are gone. We did not promise you lifetime positions to rule us. Your agenda does not count, only the will of the people. Let's impeach each and every one of them that has caused harm to our country. There won't be many left.

p.s. The uneducated union vote for Democrats across the board has to stop. Educate yourselves and understand the union is not always right nor are the Democrats.

WHAT?????????? you mean to tell me that the U.S. Supreme Court as currently seated with 2 appointments by George W. Bush, 1 by Gerald Ford, 1 by George H.W. Bush, and 2 by Ronald Reagan have no balls????

Last time I checked, 6 was a majority over 3. You mean Clinton's 2 appointments and Obama's 1 appointment has neutered the conservative justices appointed by the aforementioned Republican presidents? How can this be?

Maybe, it goes to show you that most everyone and every party is corruptible by special interest, big business and big money. So stop bragging about the Republicans and can every incumbent Republican, Democrat and Independent. Like Sean Connery said in The Untouchables "If the barrel is full of rotten apples you got to go to the tree."

Lets see who wants to bite on this one. John E.

Right now it is only the Republicans trying hopelessly to stop Obama in our mad dash to complete socialism. I like my two conservative Senators and would not vote against either one of them. We have two choices in every election, a slow decline or a fast one. Vote for the Democrats and it is the fast one. Obama and Pelosi have to be the worst duo in American history. Have to be.

High, I think you would change your tune. I didn't vote for Obama and I think he is no better than Bush, if you read my old posts I said Obamba and Bush were two of a kind, both had everything given to them - one from rich parents and one from affirmative action. The main point was that neither one of them lived within the reality of having to live on what they earned or within a budget.

Unfortuneately, it seems that is the way every politician in Washington lives, the only difference is who they are getting their money from: unions or big business; from insurance companies or trial attorneys; from tree huggers or oil companies. It is who they get their money from that seems to define them as a Republican or Democrat. We need Americans up there, not party members, even though I love a good party.

I hate to do it but I agree with your last post almost 100%. I consider myself a diehard conservative. I believe you should work for what you get and should be given nothing from the taxpayers, but Bush was only slightly better than Obama in this respect. Bush, at the begining of his first term, had all he needed in congress to overturn these entitlement programs that are bankrupting our children's future. Instead, he signed a medicare part d, an expansion which is further hindering the next generation.

Im sorry but this generation is one of the most selfish in history and should be ashamed of themselves. As long as life is nice and comfortable now you don't care where the money comes from, even if it is stealing from the childrens future. We have spent this country into bankrupcy and I for one am ashamed. This did not start with Obama, this started when Americans got lazy and selfish and refused to save their own money. I dislike Obama and Pelosi as much as the next guy but it was us lazy greedy Americans elected them, hoping for some more handouts...Disgusting

I always vote for the most conservative candidate I can vote for. That is all I can do. Government is a bad cancer that can't be stopped and will always grow. All we can hope to do is slow it's progress.

Bill, likes to bullshit, I must have hit a nerve. I hear it and see it everyday, why do you think so many jobs have gone to Mexico and other production jobs have gone to other countries. Labor has out-priced the American market. When I open a Cabelas, Sportsmans Guide or some other junk mag. I get in the mail and 90% of the items are made in China or some other third world country, what does that say to you? We no longer make the goods we buy? When Obama gave the UAW a big share of Chrysler and GM rather than the bond holders that loaned them money and then gave Fiat a larger share of Chrysler, what does that say to you? Communism? Obama promised the unions jobs for their votes and they gave him their votes and I now wonder how many regret that decision, only the ones that lost their jobs?

We have to make goods in the U.S. or some other country is going to eventually own us. We have to out produce other countries in both goods and services or our money goes to and stays with other countries. We have to have jobs to employee our people.

Obama, Congress and those that are in the way of making our Country great must go. Either you are for saving our Country or you are for yourself. The selfish always take the easy way, which are you Bill? Union first? It is suppose to be God, Country, family and then self. Somehow the order has been lost. The unions once served a purpose, but they are as corrupt and outdated as those we put into office. We need change alright, but not what we are getting.

Education is the key to the future, but jobs have to be created here and stay here. By the way, I am not anti-union, but I am against anything or any body wrecking our country. So take it as you will.

Heard this story on the radio today. This is the outfit whose honcho practically lives in the White House.

An Eagle Scout Candidate volunteered several hundred hours to clear a hiking path in a city park. In return the SEIU threatens to file a grievance against the city!!!

As unions go, the SEIU is the scummiest in the country. But this displays the entitlement mentality- they were "entitled" to the work, and that Boy Scout was obviously evil for taking the work from them, and the town was obviously evil for allowing him to do it.

Nick Balzano, president of the local Service Employees International Union, told Allentown City Council Tuesday that the union is considering filing a grievance against the city for allowing Anderson to clear a 1,000-foot walking and biking path at Kimmets Lock Park.

"We'll be looking into the Cub Scout or Boy Scout who did the trails," Balzano told the council.

Balzano said Saturday he isn't targeting Boy Scouts. But given the city's decision in July to lay off 39 SEIU members, Balzano said "there's to be no volunteers." No one except union members may pick up a hoe or shovel, plant a flower or clear a walking path.

I like the typical SEIU thuggish language- they will be "looking in to" the Boy Scout.

But, it seems this is not the first time! Looking for a link I found where another union also had a grievance against a Boy Scout for “stealing work”

    http://news.google.com/newspapers?nid=1314&dat=19860223&id=WfwRAAAAIBAJ&sjid=NO8DAAAAIBAJ&pg=7056,4463790

In this case the union actually demanded to be compensated for the work the Boy Scouts did! Thats right, they didn't do the work, didn't know it was done, but when they found out they wanted to be paid for it!

Is there anybody with any integrity left in unions? There clearly is not anyone with any integrity left in their leadership, but the lemmings still follow and pay the dues...

As far as the town goes, if they can get volunteers to maintain the parks, that is the responsible way to go with the taxpayers money- unless you are a union leech looking for an entitlement job."

BrowningPotato, (thats a unique handle), you are so right about the selfishness of the people in this country. This younger generation and even people in their 40's and 50's (such as myself - 42) have turned into nothing but a mob of lazy, self serving, instant gratification seeking idiots. Nobody is willing to put their time in, save their money, endure hardship, or perform backbreaking labor. In my day, it was silly to pay rent, but you did until you could save up enough for a down payment on an affordable house, granted a dollar went further years ago. Where I live a lot of high school grads that didn't go to college continued to live at home and pay their folks a small amount for room and board, worked a job, saved their money and did extra stuff for their parents around the house to compensate for the lower rent payment. Now you have parents who don't want their kids around, kids want to get out on their own as soon as possible so they can party and do drugs and make babies they can't afford to raise and have no intention of taking responsiblity over, rack up huge credit card debt and file bankruptcy. And our government promotes it.

As to Bush expanding medicare part d, that is just one of his mistakes along with every other republican and democrat president who had the congress and senate controlled by the same party as the president. I've said it once and I'll say it again, the house and the senate are evil, if they truly believed in the B.S. soundbites they love to spew at election time, the U.S. President would have the power of a line item veto. Why has no Republican or Democrat President ever been able to acheive that? Becasue the house and senate don't want the B.S. wastefull spending language deleted from their proposed bills. I am with you, can them all. At least it would force the lobbyist more time and energy to develop a relationship with the newbies if there were new ones every 4 years.

Likes, right on, tarrif the sh!t out of the goods coming into this country from over seas or acrossed our borders. NAFTA is without a doubt the biggest ruination of our country proposed by George H.W. Bush and the house and senate during his administration and passed under Clinton's administration.

Kolardude-Steve, if unions are the problem and the cost of labor in this country, why are Carhart coats that are made in China and Mexico just as expensive as they were when they were made in America? Did the Company executives pass that big labor savings onto the American consumer? I use to love Carhart clothing, but I won't buy it anymore, or Rocky boots, for that matter. That selfishness that Browning Potato was talking about has not only infected a couple of generations of people and workers but also company executives and politicians.
