    Left side of barrel, close to GA marking
    * is full
    ** is mod
    -** is IC
    *** is cyl
    $** is skeet
    This is what I remember anyway.

    It should be on the barrel and would be
    * = full
    ** = modified
    **- = improved cyl
    **$ = skeet
    *** = cyl

    That star in front of the special steel indicates full choke.

    Hope this helps...

    Choke Guide:

    On Browning shotguns, the choke markings are usually found on the inside left of the barrel.

    Heres how to interpret the markings:

    *    designates full choke (F).
    *-    designates improved modified choke (IM).
    **    designates modified choke (M).
    **-    designates improved cylinder choke (IC).
    **$    designates skeet (SK).
    ***    designates cylinder bore (CYL).
