We had a great day of shooting today.

Traps were set for a wonderful target presentation. (Y'all can't control the wind ??? Just kidding !!)

    The grounds were imaculate.

Score keepers, administrators, and workers were wonderful...

Thanks to Spartenburg GC, and the SC Trapshooting Association...

And the SC State Singles Champion is Thomas Campbell after a 1 round shootoff with Hannah Tollison and Gary Olson. They broke 197's and Thomas ran the 25 for the win.

Great conditions for shooting today with the heat in the morning and it cooled off a bit for the second 100..

Jeff Galloway had to break all 50 in a shootoff with Bob Boswell from Atlanta GA. Both shooters had to shoot extra targets with Bob missing his next target after mashing a broken target. Jeff had a bird with the center out and managed to mash his next bird on the way to the win. These fellows broke 198's in class AA which led to the extra rounds.

2010 GA Singles Champ Ray Grimes broke the highest score of the day with his 199 to win the OPEN HiGun champion.

Russ Adams and John Stillwagon had to shoot for OPEN Vet with 195's. Russ won the shootoff by 1 bird. Chappie Gennett forfeited the chance to win after leaving early..

    Pat,
Glad to see u made it home safely! We just got back to Jacksonville ourselves. Was nice to chat with you up there and look forward to the next time. I have a couple of Beretta bags I won if you are in dire need of something! LOL. A bird here a bird there and oh well, 197 on Saturday was just not good enough for singles..

Outstanding fish fry dinner, good friends and great times! Our hats are off to the SC gang for another great shoot. And they dodged the rain bullet once again.
