My 90T's receiver has almost a reddish brown tint to it with the barrel and sideplates a matte black. Other 90T pictures I see on here have everything matte black.
At some point did they change the blueing process ? Is the reddish brown the newer or older finish?

jbmi... I've owned a couple of 90Ts and still have a hi-rib tucked away in the gun cabinet. I believe the "reddish" tint on your gun is just blue wear. I had the same look on the hi-rib, had it re-blued and a few years later it started to look the same. Last year I had the receiver plated (brushed silver looking) to take care of the problem. I believe the "condition" is related to the pre-harden steel used in the receiver. The blue doesn't take to the harden steel the same way it does to un-hardened steel.
