Does anyone have any experience with the Remington 90-T vs the Ljutic mono, and opinions on the benefits/faults of one vs the other?

Have had and shot both. To me, its the Ljutic, hands down. An excellent trap gun and as durable as any gun can be!

I have both, great well built guns. To me I shoot the Ljutic Mono better. As far as problems they both have one, 90T - forearm up date and the Mono a tight chamber that needs to be kept clean and polished for the extarctor to work.

I switched from Ljutic Mid-Rib Mono to 90t HPAR 1 year ago. The 90t is a much softer shooter and fits me better. I wanted a more "heads-up" position, and the 90t high rib gave me that. The 90t is heavier, but I feels very balanced to me. Some people don't like the 90t weight, but I love how it tames the recoil.

Kept my Ljutic in case I wanted to switch back, but it is now up for sale.

Apples and Oranges. 90T's were discontinued years ago. Ljutic's are still being made. Get real. 90T's were made to compete with the BT 99 series, not Ljutic.

See if i have this Right. Lutic are still being made. With their "Special" a rebuild is 999.00----90T's CAN BE ReBUILT for around 400.00 "if" it EVER needs it. Hummmmm Good Point. Joe joe90t

I have had both and no problems with either. I shot both equally poorly, but still shot better than the "P" and "K" guns I have owned.

Ljutic is in another class, quality wise. Handling is personal preference.

I own a 90T. Always wanted a Ljutic but see no reason to change. The 90T is heads above the BT99 in quality. I think the Ljutic is a great gun and I may own one some day but I have been shooting the 90T for 18 months and I see nothing in my future that would make me ever own another trap gun. I have traded trap guns over 75 times in my life but this one is a keeper. Thx Joe90T for selling it to me. Best money I ever spent period.

Regarding the comment about the 90-T being aimed at competing with the BT-99, if I remember correctly the 90-T's MSRP was at least double that of the BT-99. It was even way more than the BT-100.

Yes you can get a 90t rebuilt for around $400.00 but then you need to refinish it add another $400.00+. The Ljutic Spl. includes all of the above and new Hinge Pin so it is a little higher to rebuild when needed.I have not needed to do it to mine Yet.

    The ultimate handicap gun:

Stainless Steel Ljutic Mono Gun, Mid Rib, adjustable comb, adjustable butt pad with a factory fixed choke of .030 or tighter. Preferably 100% POI.

You can spend all the money you want, but these are built like a tank and is the most efficient way to vaporize targets at the 16 or the 27.

    Back in 1991-92... $2800 vs. $900 for a BT99... no comparison.

I believe the 1997 Remington Sporting Arms catalog listed the low rib 90-T at $3100 plus suggested retail.
