8's vs. 7.5's debate settled......

    I've mixed 7.5 and 8's for as long as I've reloaded..

    Hey Mr. Barker, that depends entirely on the proportions, but you knew that and you were probably just testing our attention to detail. If i were to mix a disproportionate number of 7.5 and 8, would the lesser of the two feel a certain angst and later rebel in some distorted fashion and plug up my re-loader?

    yes but are we mixing by volume, weight or particle count? Oh geez, Rick, see what you started.

    geez. you guys. I take all my used primers, put them in a cookie tray and spray paint them White Flyer Target orange.

    Then I put on painted primer in each shell, along with a mix of 7.5s and 8s. By the time the primer slows down enough that the scorer can see it, its irregular shape has it flying just like a chip of the target I shot at.

    I save shot AND I get more marginal breaks scored than anyone I shoot with....
