Who would you send a 870 trigger to for work? Who are some of the better people out there for Rem 870 triggers? Thanks, gjmen

gjmen. 870 triggers are a piece of cake. Just punch out the two pins and remove the trigger/hammer assembly from the receiver. The hammer is easily identified as are the notches where you make the adjustments. After the Garza lawsuit, Remington decided that the trigger should require 9,000 lbs of pressure to shoot the damned thing. All you need to do is carefully hone the depth and slope of the notch to get the desired pull. Also you can shorten or lengthen the hammer spring to get you to where you want to go. I just took more time to type this than it takes to do the job, it's that easy. I actually used a Dremel tool to remove much of the extra metal on an 870 3 1/2 MAG Turkey Special Super Mag whatever they call it. You want to see a horrible trigger, pick up one of those puppies and dry fire it at Gander. It gives new meaning to the word "pull". (grin) mike
