870 Stocks

    When the youth grow up and there Remington 870 Youth 20 Ga. is to short what does someone do to update the Rem. 870/20 Ga. Youth model gun. I have checked out the Remington web site and cannot find a replacement stock. Any suggestions.

    A stock from an 1100 28 or 410 guage will probably fit with the use a spacer because of the longer stock bolt. HMB

    Joe, folks are always looking for youth models. Sell it or trade it for the larger version 870. I have two 10 year old grandsons I am experencing your problems. Bill Clymer

    Any LT 20ga stock should work. Here is a picture of one on an 1100 I did for a freinds son. The stock is so short the nut sticks out 1/16 of an inch past the first 1/4 inch aluminum plate . With the adjustable pull it will go out to 14 1/2 inches. Jeff
