I have a nice trap stock for an 1100 that is not being used and would like to put it on my 870 Competition. How do I get a longer bolt to fasten it on, as the hole is not long enough in the 1100 stock for the 870 bolt to function? Am I going to have to drill the 1100 stock hole deeper, or is there a longer bolt available? If so, where could I get one? Thanks.

Take your 870 bolt to the hardware store and they should have a longer one. I would suggest a hardened one.

A piece of 1/4-28 all thread, (2) 1/4-28 nuts and a little red Loctite works pretty well, too!!!

all you need is a piece of pcv pipe or any other pipe, cut off a piece about 1 to 2 inches long and that will fill up the space.
