This is a stock for an 870 made from a blank of very cheap English Walnut. The reason I wanted to show this was the blank has been laying in the shop for about 6 months and 20 people passed on this blank said it was ugly and had no figure. The finished stock has a ton of character and finished better than the original blank showed in the raw. Sometimes a so so blank ends up as a beauty. Thank you for taking a look and I hope the owner is happy with the end product.

I have been shooting an 870 tb for years. To me, that is beautiful wood, with lots of figure. Years ago I purchased a comp 1 Perazzi and the wood looked like it was taken off a s--- house door.

I wish I could have a stock that ugly with no figure LOL. And the blank doesn't really look half bad to me either. I like the light to dark contrast in the blank and resulting stock.

That stock is hidious. I would hate to have that laying in your shop driving buisness away. I think it would be best if i put it on my old 870 and hide it away in my safe to prevent you further embarassment.

That one nice stock. It looks like you could buy 5 870's for the price of that stock.
