    Wear glasses and be careful taking a "Comp" apart. Next time the spring may well take care of its removal by itself and lodge in a far wall, about half-way up.

    The spring is easily removed by pushing in the seal at the chamber end of the magazine tube. The seal tends to fit tight but you can push it in with your thumb. The seal will remain attached to the spring. I wipe the recoil parts off with a oily cloth.
