1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

For more detailed information please see this post: Thread Bump Functionality.

I got a buttstock and extended forearm from them years back, and it came with a "spacer" for the forend - the set WAS an 870 Comp set - exactly the same as what was on the 870 Comp in the safe.

Yes it was - like I say, it WAS an 870 comp set, they sent a steel spacer with to fit a regular 870 slide since the comp slide is shorter - the buttstock had very nice figure. That was maybe 10 years ago . . .

I don't know if that's what the one I sent the link to is, but it seemed like when they dc'd the comp model, GPC got the leftover wood - they have some satin finished stocks that aren't checkered, too.

Don't know if they'd take it back if you didn't like it, but I think that's what you're after. Maybe call them and ask - Good luck in your quest!

    Jim,

I have access to a couple original 870 Competition stock sets.

What price range are you looking for?
