1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

For more detailed information please see this post: Thread Bump Functionality.

What is the fastest 1 1/8th oz load you have seen published and in what hull and wad combinations w/pressures less than 10,300psi? The reason I ask is only thing I can find is 24 grs AA HS hull 1250 7,700 psi. This is in the latest version of the Hodgdon Reloading Manual.

I am going to contact them and see if they have any info on this, was wodering if any of you have seen anything.

When 800X came out we tried it and found it wanting.

    Best for 1 & 1/4 oz loads.

I checked the Hodg. website. Nothing much on 1 1/8 loads with speed. Go to the 1 1/4 loads data. Pick one you like, use 1 1/8 of shot and you should end up with a load that goes 25 fps faster than the 1 1/4 oz. load and is safe.

Your limited to 1250 fps. with 1-1/8oz. and 800X. Switch to an Alliant Longshot and get 1475fps./10,100psi, with a AA hull, AA wad, Win primer, 1-1/8oz. shot. 33.2 grains Longshot. Hang on to your shoulder!!. Wayne
