Does anyone know for sure that 700x has not been discontinued? I tried some Promro after looking for 700x for three or four months. Promo preforms well enough and is reasonably priced but in my opinion it is very dirty as compared to 700x. I have been shooting 700x exclusively since the mid 70's and the older I get the less I like change.
Find it hard to believe that they would discontinue 700X, however it is becoming a different country that we live in. I bought 2 - 8# kegs from best buy shooting supply in May.

Years ago IMR powder was packaged and shipped from Plattsburgh, NY.
The plant in Plattsburgh would not accept box cars full of powder that did not meet minimum standards. Quality control problems at the manufacturing plant in Canada was the problem. At times shooters had a problem finding IMR powders due to this.
This was before Hodgedon purchased IMR and powder came in metal cans and you could still get 12lb kegs.
