Slick willie promised "the most ethical administration in history", and he promptly gave the country one of the most unethical administrations history.

The current Whitehouse occupant, an ultra liberal, socialist, ACORN affiliate, makes slick willie look honest.

    From the Obama File,,,,,,,,,,,,

    It's Been Quite A Year

The Morning Journal's editor, Tom Skoch, reminds us that Tuesday is Election Day 2009. Already, it has been a year since Barack Obama rode the "hope and change" bandwagon to victory in the 2008 presidential election. Today, we can look back over what Obama has brought to us in that year.

In Lorain, Ohio, Obama has brought... well, maybe that's not such a good example. Not much change here, but we can hope for more jobs and business, eventually.

Let's take a wider look at a checklist of big Obama & Company plans and their progress:

    • "Get out of Iraq." -- Not yet.

    • "Fight the real war in Afghanistan." -- Needs more study.

    • Close down Gitmo." -- Not yet.

    • "Health care for all." -- Not yet; but so far they're up to 1,900 pages of baffle-gab proposals that would dictate about 3,000 things we "shall" (read that "must") do to follow those dance steps, whatever they are. Nobody is sure. Not to worry; they can move quickly since they've learned to approve laws without actually reading them.

    • "Transparency in government." -- Sorry, they're all locked in a closed-door meeting. Check back someday.

    • "Re-set" relations with Russia and charm the world. -- Had a whole row of Putin flunkies refuse to shake his hand. Then he dumped our allies' date with a missile defense in Eastern Europe to dance to Russia's tune, but Putin still won't respect him. Not to worry, dirt bag dictators are warming up to us, and the King of Saudi Arabia thinks of Obama every time he needs a world leader to bow before him. Most amazingly, Obama has made France look tougher than the United States. That's an achievement.

    • Fix the mess "Bush made" of the economy -- Easy. Obama just borrowed an immense mountain of money and dumped it on top of Bush's spending molehill. Pretty soon Obama will have spent all the money anyone will lend us, then our dollars will be worthless and we'll all be carefree because who needs to worry about not having enough worthless money?

    • Move America into a post-racial era. -- Easy. Now anyone who disagrees with Obama's ideas is a racist. No more guesswork. Just spot them; isolate them; destroy their reputations and livelihoods. He's a chip off the old Alinsky.

    • "Stop global warming; save the environment" -- A work in progress, sort of, maybe. Poured out $3 billion or so in cash for clunkers. Doesn't the air smell much sweeter since then?

    • Obama also has inspired millions of Americans to get worthwhile exercise by marching to Tea Parties.

    • He and his friends have given the Second Amendment newfound respect. In the past year, millions of Americans have bought up firearms and ammunition at a blazing pace before some czar can stop them.

    • All joking aside, Obama does have one huge achievement: He has won the Nobel Peace Prize.

Oh, wait. That's a joke, too.

Fewer Than Half Of Arkansans Think Obama Is Natural Born

An October 23rd item reported that three-in-ten Americans think their current head of state was not born in the United States, according to a poll by Angus Reid Strategies. 70 per cent of respondents believe Barack Obama was born in the U.S., while 30 per cent do not.

Now, Goddard's Political Wire points to a new Public Policy Polling survey in Arkansas shows that only 45% of voters in the state say they believe Obama was born in this country, while 31% say they think he was not and 24% are unsure.

"Arkansas is the first of four states where we've polled the birther issue (Virginia, North Carolina, and Colorado were the others) and found less than half of respondents confident that Obama is a natural born citizen. The numbers are particularly dramatic among Republicans with 49% saying Obama was not born here to just 23% who grant that he was."

Obama Surrounds Himself With The Most Extreme Appointees In American History

Steve Baldwin says much has been written about Obama’s controversial appointments, not only to the federal bench, but to key cabinet positions, as well as to the unaccountable (and probably unconstitutional) "Czar" positions. Much of the criticism has dwelled on the Obama administration’s lack of vetting when filling these rolls -- but that’s not the issue.

To the contrary, the Obama team did investigate thoroughly and they choose precisely. When an administration repeatedly nominates hard-left individuals, it’s not a vetting error -- it’s a pattern. We should not allow the media to portray these appointments as a series of errors; but rather, we need to realize that Team Obama is simply nominating those who share their goal of radically changing America.

Most Americans have a hard time understanding this because they refuse to believe Obama is this extreme. But he is. For a year prior to his election conservatives warned voters that everything we knew about Obama indicated that his views were far from the mainstream. This was obvious when one analyzed his friends, which groups he funded while a "community activist," his Illinois State Senate record, his United States Senate record and even what he wrote in his own books.

The reality, of course, is that Obama’s views are far from the mainstream and it is embarrassing so many Americans fell for his leftist candy-coated lies. Indeed, it appears that Obama is the most far left president in American history. His appointees only confirm this. These appointees hail from the crowd who regard their pedigree as the 60’s activists who cheered on the Vietcong, while American boys were slaughtered in the jungles of Vietnam. They hate America, or more precisely, they hate America’s heritage; American institutions, and the American Constitution.

Many of these extremists nominated by Obama hail from academia, where they were shielded from outside scrutiny while they quietly indoctrinated our youth. But don’t let the cloak of academia fool you; they are out to change America in ways most Americans oppose. More importantly, Americans need to realize their views are Obama’s views.

The American media is partly responsible for bringing such extremists to power. There is little doubt the media engaged in a massive propaganda effort to convince Americans that Obama was some kind of hip moderate; a breath of fresh air, a reformer, and someone who would fight the corrupt ways of Washington. Until Americans wake up and stop relying on the mainstream media for their source of news, they will continue to pay a heavy price for their ignorance. Unfortunately, this report covers just a few of Obama’s policy-makers, but there are many more such extremists within his administration.

Here are some facts for ya stranger,,,,,,,,

    Dismantling of America

Thomas Sowell says that just one year ago, would you have believed that an unelected government official, not even a Cabinet member confirmed by the Senate but simply one of the many "czars" appointed by Obama, could arbitrarily cut the pay of executives in private businesses by 50 percent or 90 percent?

Did you think that another "czar" would be talking about restricting talk radio? That there would be plans afloat to subsidize newspapers -- that is, to create a situation where some newspapers' survival would depend on the government liking what they publish?

Did you imagine that anyone would even be talking about having a panel of so-called "experts" deciding who could and could not get lifesaving medical treatments?

Scary as that is from a medical standpoint, it is also chilling from the standpoint of freedom. If you have a mother who needs a heart operation or a child with some dire medical condition, how free would you feel to speak out against an administration that has the power to make life and death decisions about your loved ones?

Does any of this sound like America?

How about a federal agency giving school children material to enlist them on the side of Obama? Merely being assigned to sing his praises in class is apparently not enough.

How much of America would be left if the federal government continued on this path? Obama has already floated the idea of a national police force, something we have done without for more than two centuries.

We already have local police forces all across the country and military forces for national defense, as well as the FBI for federal crimes and the National Guard for local emergencies. What would be the role of a national police force created by Barack Obama, with all its leaders appointed by him? It would seem more like the brown shirts of dictators than like anything American.

How far Obama will go depends of course on how much resistance he meets. But the direction in which he is trying to go tells us more than all his rhetoric or media spin.

Barack Obama has not only said that he is out to "change the United States of America," the people he has been associated with for years have expressed in words and deeds their hostility to the values, the principles and the people of this country.

Jeremiah Wright said it with words: "God damn America!" Bill Ayers said it with bombs that he planted. Community activist goons have said it with their contempt for the rights of other people.

Among the people appointed as czars by Obama have been people who have praised enemy dictators like Mao, who have seen the public schools as places to promote sexual practices contrary to the values of most Americans, to a captive audience of children.

Those who say that the Obama administration should have investigated those people more thoroughly before appointing them are missing the point completely. Why should we assume that Barack Obama didn't know what such people were like, when he has been associating with precisely these kinds of people for decades before he reached the White House?

Nothing is more consistent with his lifelong patterns than putting such people in government -- people who reject American values, resent Americans in general and successful Americans in particular, as well as resenting America's influence in the world.

Any miscalculation on his part would be in not thinking that others would discover what these stealth appointees were like. Had it not been for the Fox News Channel, these stealth appointees might have remained unexposed for what they are. Fox News is now high on the administration's enemies list.

Nothing so epitomizes Obama's own contempt for American values and traditions like trying to ram two bills through Congress in his first year -- each bill more than a thousand pages long -- too fast for either of them to be read, much less discussed. That he succeeded only the first time says that some people are starting to wake up. Whether enough people will wake up in time to keep America from being dismantled, piece by piece, is another question -- and the biggest question for this generation.

I'm amazed how Libs keep referring back to Bush when their Messiah has not accomplished one goal he promised, and continues to break campaign promises.
They also ignore the fact that it was a Dem led congress the last 2 years of Bush's term, and most of the sh-t hit the fan under their watch. The sh-t will hit the fan again in Nov. 2010.

Joen wrote "Them are the Fact's if you what to believe them or not"

    What a joke.

    Here Joen, you wants facts, here are some recent facts about your people;

"Just the facts on the Fiscal Year End: The 2009 fiscal year for the federal government ended 2 days ago. The deficit through the first 11 months was $1.4 trillion, 43 cents of every dollar spent was borrowed, and the national debt is now $11.77 trillion which is a 35% increase since Democrats took control of Congress in 2006. More debt has been accumulated in those 33 months than in the entire period of the nation's history from 1789 to 1989. You can draw your own conclusions, they are pretty obvious. This is unsustainable." John Campbell, Congressman - California

Next time, Joen, place the economic collapse blame squarely where it belongs, with your buddy, Barney Frank. He and his liberal buddies lobbied congress for a decade, to relax common sense mortgage lending restrictions, leading to sub-prime mortgages and other predatory lending practices,,MANDATING mortgages be given to people with NO MEANS TO REPAY. Do you hear that, Joen?

His live-in partner at the time was an executive with FannyMae, and benefited greatly from Franks' deregulation. Frank, is considered the straw that broke the camels back. He, set this country up for economic collapse.

    Bush had repeated concerns of predatory lending practices;

"According to an article by Kathleen Day in the Oct. 8, 2003, Washington Post, Frank opposed giving the Bush administration the right to approve or disapprove business activities that “could pose risk to the taxpayers.” He told the Post he worried the Treasury Department “would sacrifice activities that are good for consumers in the name of lowering the companies’ market risks.”

Just a month before, Frank had aggressively thwarted reform efforts by the Bush administration. He told The New York Times on Sept. 11, 2003, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac’s problems were “exaggerated,” a gross miscalculation some five years later with costs estimated to be in the hundreds of billions."

You don't know anything about the "facts". Your people CAUSED this whole mess...

He's a union schmuck, Paladin...anytime you hear the words "Daddy" and "Bush" used in the same sentence, you're talking to a union schmuck. Can't defend Obama - so just keep attacking Bush.

Question: if the stimulus was $787 Billion, it is one-half spent, and it we take at face value O's claim that it "saved" 650,000 jobs...doesn't that come out to about $600,000 per job? For a government job that probably pays 60 grand?

Boy. They must be taking out a hell of a lot of taxes.

You tell em Joe. They don't listen though they can't handle the truth ya know? They are republicans and don't know what that is. Don't worry they are just preaching to the choir here and none of them will get off their tired butts to go do the legwork for their party. They want it all for free and none of them will donate or work. That's how they lost the last election and it'll be how they loose the next one to. :) Ask them if they heard about the last election.. They love that question. Dan:)

Obama might be the elected president of the United States of America, but he will NEVER be my president ... I hope and pray that those who voted for him hurt the most and feel the pain the worst long after Obama is gone ... I cannot say anymore or it will be deleted and right fully so by the Monitors ... WPT ... (YAC) ...
