I have been loading for a long time but never have done much work with a 6pt crimp. I have some black remington hulls in storage with a 6pt crimp. I was going to drop a 1oz, 2 3/4 dram plus load in them. Any problems or ideas??

Load the heck out of them. I use them for Skeet loads.

No problem with that load. The hulls will love it and reload as well as any Remington hull!

Well, your crimp starting station may need a part that will deal with 6 pt instead of the usual 8 pt.....Bob

An eight point crimp starter will screw up some of your six point reloads. A six point crimp starter is best. A smooth one designed for crimping paper shells, also works well.

Not a problem with the crimp starter. I do have a 6pt one.
