687E vs 682

    Hi,
    What's the difference between these models? I see two used ones on the Joel Etchen site.

    5E!.......There may be different finishes, different checkering, but essentially the same.

    The 687 has a lot of cosmetic enhancements and usually an adjustable rib,comb and butt. The 682 has the same frame and BBLS but not as much bling and you may have to aftermarket the adjustable comb and butt. Both good guns but the 687 will cost quite a bit more than the 682.

    682 is a designated competition model, 682 Gold E is a newer version with factory big bore and new chokes.

    687 is the prettier version of the 686. Field and competition. E model has big bore.

    Like the fellows said, the first difference you notice is appearance.
