A very difficult and subjective question, since what is "a lot" of recoil to one, is little recoil to another. I think my Beretta combo has very light recoil, at least compared to the BT99 Golden Clays I previously shot. Depends of a lot of factors, incuding how the gun fits you, what shells you use, how you configure the gun, etc. The only way you can really tell how the recoil is for you is to fire one, using the shells/loads you would normally use.

I previously owned a top single combo. I always said that beretta was italian for kick me. I put a gracoil on it and it was much better. I then traded it for the bottom single combo. Same result. I put a precision fit stock on the bottom single and like it very well.

My son and I have a 687 combos (same gun as the 682, different cosmetics) and we both think our guns shoot very soft. In fact, shooting his is what motivated me to buy one for myself.
