This Partner/Protection game will be shot with five 2 shooter teams starting on the 21 yard line.

Entrants can pick their own partner. Shooters will alternate calling for their bird. If the wrong shooter

calls for the bird, the target (broken or not) will be scored as lost. Should the back-up team member

shoot at a target broken by his partner, that target shall be deemed lost. The team’s starting posts will

be determined from a random draw by shoot management

Teams will shoot at 3 targets per post as described below:

15 targets at the 21 yard line

15 targets at the 23 yard line

15 targets at the 25 yard line

15 targets at the 27 yard line

Winning teams will be decided by the total scores. Ties will be shot off at Shoot Management’s discretion.

Failure to Fire: Each shooter can receive one (1) failure to fire due to gun and/or ammo malfunction. No flinches and/or perceived illegal targets will be deemed a failure to fire. A broken target thrown from the house will be shot over. Decision by the shoot management (Curt Jones or his designee) is final.

Green Bird Option: Shoot management may institute the randomly placed “Green Bird” into the carousel for the shooters as another “option”. Shooter must break the Green Bird to obtain the option money.

Ammunition: Only ATA approved shotshells please.
