Middletown Sportsman Club in Middletown Oh is going to have a 60 bird protection on March 29th. It will be shot the exact same way as Tri City in Ky has shot their very successful shoot. We will shoot it on 3 traps. First squad will shoot the first 2 pair and move to the second trap, shoot middle 2 pair and move to the 3rd trap to shoot the final 2 pair.
Cost will be $35 per shooter with $5 going to the calcutta and $30 going to targets abd 10 birds. The $30 will be paid back at an 80/20 split. Each 10 bird will have $4 per shooter in the 10 bird shootoffs. All 10's will be shot off after the calcutta is completed. You may reenter the calcutta a 2nd time as long as you shoot it with a different partner. Only 1 re-entry per person , no exceptions.
Minimum bid is $10 per team. If we have 20 pair or more the calcutta will pay back at 50/30/20 with it being split 50/50 between shooter and buyer. Less than 20 pair will pay back 60/40, again 50/50 between shooter and buyer.
You need to be signed up by 6:eek:o pm, board will sale at 6:30 pm.
If we have enough interest we will shoot 3 10 birds after our Saturday calcutta,. They will be shot 23yds-25yds-27yds.
If this shoot has enough interest, we will shoot it the last Saturday of each month, starting in May. We would not shoot in April due to that will be the weekend of the Mid-American.
If you have not shot at Middletown for a little while you need to come out and give it a chance. It is in under new management and now throwing White Flyer targets. If the saturday calcutta is any indication the scores are always much higher. Seems there have been lots of 49's and 48's broken almost every week. Every now and then a 50 will be thrown in there. So come out and join us and lets give Pat Byrd , the new manager some support and enjoy a very fun night.
If we have a good enough support of this shoot to shoot it monthly, we will not change the way we shoot it the way it happened the last time we started this shoot. Hope to see everyone there. Thanks for your support of Middletown Sportsman Club.
