I hope you gent will allow a man to brag a bit....lol

My 8th grade son hit 73/100 in a 25+mph north wind sunday at Ozark shooters in Branson Mo. He was HOA jr high shooter...and 5th overall high score.

This is his second year shooting. If your familiar with Ozark Shooters they are on top of a big hill and the birds were "dancin" if you know what I mean...

The High scores were 86,77,75,73 Ok I am sorry 4th!!! out of 105! lol

He wasn't protecting his yardage was he?

Just kidding. With 105 shooters, there were a bunch trying to win that shoot.

Good for him! Boast now, cause he'll probably be kick'n your butt shortly.

Great shooting! You can only compare to what was done by others under those conditions.

    Jim,
It was tough out there Sunday for sure. Congratulations to your son. My son is in 6th grade and has only been shooting trap for 3 months. He was able to break 47 birds. I told him not to get discouraged because the targets definately had a mind of their own Sunday. Did you see the pile of wads that the wind had accumulated off the corner of station 5 on field 2? You could have scooped them up with a shovel.

Looking at the score sheet it looks like you guys have some excellent young shooters in Bergman.
