I'm coming up for the singles. Been practicing a "Pull" trigger. Gonna scare some folks.

Nice stuff Jeff. I have one of your "Viking" buckles. Too nice to wear.

I was asked the other day about who has won the most Steer and Calf awards throughout the 50 years of the shoot. To the best of my abilities I believe they are as follows:

Pat Laib - 5 Steer and 6 Calf awards for a total of 11

Bob Munson - 7 Steer and 2 Calf awards for a total of 9

Scott Gens - 6 Steer awards.

Back in the day they use to give an actual Steer and Calf away for the awards. Then one day the Steer got out of the pen and ran off and they had to rent a helicopter to go and find it. I won't mention what happened to that Steer when they did find it, but needless to say we now give cash away instead. ;-)

Jeff, I know you are a lot of things, some I can't mention here, but you are a visionary when it comes to picking shoot dates with perfect weather. How do you do it???

    50 years.....thats a long time.

Looking forward to a great shoot and seeing bunches of shooters there.

What a difference a day makes!!! On Saturday, September 8th the wind blew 25 to 30 mph most of the day and on Sunday, September 9th a shooter couldn’t have asked for a better day to shoot. Either way, when the smoke cleared, Eric Munson walked away with the Steer Award both days and the $400!!

I believe this years Steer & Calf shoot was a good one and I hope everyone enjoyed themselves. As always, I “appreciate” and want to”thank” everyone who came out this past weekend and this past year to shoot and support the Del-Tone/Luth Gun Range!!!!

It was a great and fun shoot. The club is so well run and probably my favorite club to shoot at.
