    What Catpower said! LOL

What to buy, that's easy. Guns or ammo, or both.

I wanted a Bass boat and a new drag car and got both. Not new but was able to get them both by buying used. Have now got rid of both drag cars but still enjoy the bass boat but like the pontoon boat too for night fishing.

Buy yourself something special. When I turned 50 (10 years ago), I could only say at least I won't die in my 40's. Happy birthday; turning 50 for me wasn't as depressing as when I turned 60 this year. Also, if you were in our trap club, you would be a youngin'. I'm a youngin' as most of our fellow shooters are much older than 62. BT100dc

A different job. LOL That didn't happen.

Don't really remember wanting anything. One friend of mine purchased a boat, another a Harley. I had a heart attack at age 48 so I guess I was just happy to be alive and healthy.

Now for the 60th coming up in a couple of years, I want to drive a sports car the length of the Pacific Coast Highway from SanDiego to Seattle.

    DIXIE SPECIAL:

Your thread reminds me of what happened on my 50th...

The next door neighbors are a cute young lesbian couple. They’re charming girls but don't know the first thing about routine vehicle maintenance or home repairs.

Over time I had gotten to know them while dispensing fatherly advice, lending tools and giving them an occasional neighborly hand with various small projects.

My wife casually mentioned one day that I was approaching my 50th birthday. In appreciation of my efforts the girls INSISTED on getting me a birthday present. I was quite surprised when it turned out to be a Timex. I’m pretty sure they misunderstood when I told them, “I wanna watch”.

When I turned 50....a long time ago....I invited some friends over and we partied and then I went back to the reality of keeping our farm afloat....60 was better...went to Europe....
