1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

For more detailed information please see this post: Thread Bump Functionality.

Weatherby Custom MK V .460 Weatherby Magnum Made is USA
My buddy Karamojo Rob and I have run all the Elephants and Rhinos out of Oklahoma so I'm offering this for sale. 99% no dings no blue wear. Engraved scope rings. Comes with dies and a lot of brass.
I have blank attachment if the factory ported brake is too tame for you.
I can verify that it does recoil with 600 grain solids but entertaining to shoot with reduced loads. Might take an interesting trade. $1800.00 Shipped

I would think that this caliber would be excellent on them tusked piggy's ya'all have down there. If I resided there a possible purchase for just such critters could be considered. Shot this caliber twice in succession once in my life. I have memories.

I've shot woodchucks with mine using a 300 gr. Hornady JHP at 3184 F.P.S. clocked over my chronograph. Did a pretty nice job on them. All that was left was a red mist and a whimper. Bill W.

No need to buy factory ammo. I've got enough brass to keep you going till your ears bleed. Surplus BMG powder is cheap. Match that with some cheap 405 grain soft points and you got you some fun, cheap shooting!! I'll even throw in a bottle of aspirin!!!!

I wonder if shooting this gun would result in a flinch by the second shot?

Nice gun and I would say that a very good price for that round.
What the price of factory ammo?

Recoil is correct. Several years ago(1980's)one of the hunting or gun magazine wrote an article about this round and the recoil it delivered. The recoil test was referred to as the little red wagon test. The test consisted on placing a 150 lb person in a little red wagon, shoot the gun and then measure the distance the wagon moved back. I don’t remember the load used but it was a factory loaded round. The test result was the movement of the wagon was 2 ft. In comparison a 30-06 was about 5 inches.
